Clarissa Corinne, the MAJESTIC GEORGIA PEACH, is a military brat raised and residing in Atlanta, GA. She's a Pratt Institute Honors Graduate, which is located in Brooklyn, NY. She received her Bachelors in Fine Arts with a concentration in painting. Clarissa received the Outstanding Merit Award, which was given to her from the Fine Art Department at Pratt.
Clarissa considers herself a modern day Renaissance Woman and story teller. She is a filmmaker, actress, and figurative oil painter.
She has appeared on the first season of "Love Connection" hosted by Andy Cohen, and produced by The Bachelor on Fox Network. "Murder Chose Me" on the I.D. Channel, promo commercials for Lifetime Network, and "Snapped: Killer Couples" on the Oxygen Network. Clarissa adores wearing pink, telling jokes, kicking ass, and shooting guns! Even in her small and petite statue she's played roles of dark, wreckless and colorful backgrounds.
Her obsession with suspense and action films led her to write a crime thrilling short film, which she also directed, produced, and acting in titled "Missing Nest". This film is about a psychiatrist helping to solve the murders of a serial killer's copycat.
Clarissa’s Grandfather, Lonnie Hamilton, got into acting at 90 years old. It was he who inspired her to become an actor when she was 10 years old after she saw him act in films such as “Forrest Gump”, “The Man on the Moon”, and “The Tempest” just to name a few.
Clarissa learned how to paint in high school with oils at the world renowned Interlochen Arts Academy located in Traverse City, Michigan.
As a painter Clarissa has been in several group shows where she has displayed her artwork in Atlanta, GA and New York. Clarissa was in the Museum of Contemporary Art of Georgia's "Movers & Shakers of the Georgia Art Scene" exhibition. She has also been published in Rolling Out, The Life and Times of Utica, and has appeared on CBS Atlanta News just to name a few.
She has produced and moderated a panel discussion, titled "The Changing Face of Black Art in America, Post Obama" held at Pratt Institute. She has also produced art lectures and panel discussions featuring prominent artist like Cey Adams and Aaron Perry Zucker. Clarissa also was a panelist at Left Forum held at Pace University in New York City.
